Clinic Sign-Up Policies and Procedures
Summer sign-ups begin at 9am on Monday, May 18, 2009. To sign up, go to www.mmtennis.us. If you haven't already set up an account and added your children to it, you will need to do so first. If you have forgotten your password, there is a link right on the sign-up page that will have your password sent to you (look for "Forgot your password?"). Additionally:
1. Sign-ups for each session close the Friday before the session begins (at midnight). You can change your registration as often as you like up until the Friday before the session begins, but then the website locks and I ask you to commit to what you've signed up for.
2. IMPORTANT: You may sign up for as many (or as few) dates in a session as you like. You do not have to sign up for an entire session. (e.g., If your child can make two dates in Session I, one date in Session II, and all dates in Session III, that's fine with me.)
3. Please place your child's name on the waitlist for any clinic dates that you want but cannot get. Why? A) if someone else changes their registration and you are the next person on the waitlist, you'll get moved into the clinic automatically (and notified by email) and, b) I use the waitlist to determine whether there is enough interest in a clinic to start another section.
4. Please pay for all dates that your child is scheduled to attend a given clinic in a given session by the first day of that session (you pay one session at a time). You may pay for multiple sessions at once, if you like. Paypal is the preferred payment method, but you may also pay by check (please try to write one check for all family members).
5. Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather (too hot, too wet), I will cancel clinics. For updates on cancellations, please call the front desk at the club. Credits for missed classes can be applied a) during Session IV, or b) towards private lessons. Members must keep track of missed clinic dates and make arrangements to redeem credits.

Children's Tournament Schedule
This summer, we will be trying something new. Rather than holding the final, end-of-summer singles tournament all in one day, we will hold weekly tournaments, to be played Thursday evenings, from 4-7pm. Sign-ups for tournaments will be online, at www.mmtennis.us.
2009 Tournament Schedule:
7/2 Girls Doubles (A, B divisions)
7/9 Boys Doubles (A, B divisions)
7/16 Girls Singles (age: 9-10, 11-13, 14+)
7/23 Boys Singles (age: 9-10, 11-13, 14+)
7/29 Mixed Doubles (A, B divisions)***
8/2 Parent/Child Tournament & Banquet
*** Please note that this is a Wednesday night.
Inner-club Match Play
We participate in two children's leagues:
- Sudbury Valley Junior Tennis League (SVJTL): Open to all children age 9-16 who can serve and sustain a rally. Matches: Tuesday/Thursday, 1:30pm. Fee: TBA.
- United States Tennis Association (USTA): Open to advanced level players, ages 10-14. Matches on Wednesdays, 1pm. Fee: TBA.
Sign-ups for SVJTL matches will be online, at www.mmtennis.us. If you are interested in having your child join the USTA team, please get in touch via email (if necessary, we'll hold a try-out in early June). Play for both leagues begins the week of June 22.
Private Lessons
- Head Professional (Mike Michaud): $50/hr (package rates available)
- Asst. Professionals (Josh Goldman/Christina Chao): $30/hr

Equipment
I will have adult and children's tennis rackets for sale in the tennis shop. Demo rackets will be available as well (brand: Fischer). Racket stringing will be available starting in mid-June.
Please support your local tennis pro by buying and servicing your equipment locally!
